I love the metalic look to the surface. Was it all milk or just the droplet?

Was it any easier using milk? I've read somewhere that because of the density of milk it's ever so slightly slower and therefore easier to capture. I've wondered if it's true and was thinking of trying it sometime.

Well... mine were mixed in with water, because you know i hate wasting milk XD

Anyway, if it was like 2% fat milk or higher, it probably would be, but mine with water didn't do much at all haha :D

I'll have to try it with cream, maybe then i'll be able to capture it ;)

This inspired me to try out some droplet photos myself~
But not before I read that it was milk and blue food colouring =(
So the drops were not as clear/visible
Thanks for the tip!

I'll give a brief "critique" here. I think the composition of this shot is extraordinary. The haziness of the liquid is captivating, the colors are very graceful. I absolutely L O V E this shot, dear.

Beautiful. I love how the water seems to lift from the centre, almost as if it's gathering energy from the surrounding water. Great gentle colour with a wonderful perspective. Lovely composition.

Yep that's what it does. It's pulled back by momentum, and get's another droplet like that. It actually repeats that proces for a long time until the droplet is so small, it can't devide any longer. But it happens at such a fast time... it's impossible for a human eye to catch it :)

Thank you!

what i meant was how come you don't get a shot with a drop, when everything happens so fast it's inevitable to get a shot no matter what :giggle:
